In a recent interview with Ever Free Radio, Grey Delisle revealed information about the character she is currently voice acting for Book 3 of The Legend of Korra. Grey made a conscious effort to ensure that she didn’t reveal too many important details about her character, but she did let a few minor details slide.
Right off the bat, Grey informed us that she has yet to see what her character actually looks like. But that can sort of be expected; after all, the crew is currently in the recording process. Animation and art work don’t necessarily come into play for the voice actors yet.
After that, Grey talked a little bit about her role in Book 3 of The Legend of Korra and said the following about her character:
- She’s a bender.
- She’s NOT a Fire Bender.
- She’s NOT Azula.
- She’s a “bad girl”.
There really isn’t much speculation that can be done based on this mostly because this information is fairly generic. The only question I have based on the information given is what Grey Delisle means by “bad girl”. Does she mean that her character will be Amon-Bad or Tahno-Bad? Amon-Bad means that her character will play the role of the primary villain in the series whereas Tahno-Bad simply means that her character will be an ordinary pest. It’s a big difference, obviously, but we’ll probably have to play the waiting game to find out.
Grey seems to be very tight-lipped about her character as of now, so I wouldn’t expect much more details from her any time soon. We’ll just have to wait and see.
[Editor’s Story:] I would have published this news a bit earlier, but something quite odd happened to me and I thought it would be worth sharing with my readers.
As I was finishing up this post (for the first time), my screen blanked out and this image appeared on my screen. If you can’t read it, it basically says that the FBI has shut down my computer and if I don’t pay a fine, I’ll be arrested for many years for illegal downloads. All my documents closed out and I was literally freaking out (mostly because I thought I would be arrested).
After calming my self down, I began to realize how stupid it all sounded. Why would I have to go to CVS, pick up a card, load in $300 and send it to some web site to pay the FBI? I did a quick Google Search, found out it was a Virus, deleted it, and started rewriting this post.
Anyways, that’s why I was late on the news and I thought some of you would get a kick out of it. Hopefully I’ll save some of you the trouble if any of you happen to stumble upon it.
