It’s been a while since I’ve published a post about Korra, and I have to admit, I’ve tried really hard to think of worthwhile content to publish. I even started several posts that were deleted over a page-in simply because they didn’t provide any worthwhile content.
But then again, what worthwhile content is there to provide right now? In the world of Korra, news is currently non-existent.
If you want something to ponder on, you can imagine my reaction to getting a $75 parking ticket at my University this morning. That’s the highlight of my day, unfortunately. In terms of Korra-related content, I stumbled upon a picture of Korra standing next to an empty podium that used to house a statue of Avatar Aang. Obviously, the picture was edited so it’s not necessarily news worthy.
I suppose this relates to Korra being cut off from her past lives, which will be interesting to get more information on during the course of Book 3. Until then, our best bet is wait until Korra Nation resume. Once Korra Nation resumes, marketing will have officially been initiated.
As you probably know, with marketing comes the premiere of a trailer and the announcement of a release date. Until then, we will simply have to wait and hope Bryan Konietzko publishes a few more Book 3 images to hold us over.
It’s sort of odd that Bryan’s Tumblr has been so dry as of late. Not sure why that is except for the fact that he’s probably busy working on Book 3 and Book 4.
As you can probably tell, there isn’t much of a point to this particular post. I’m simply writing this to inform you that we’ve hit a dry spell. A point in the offseason when there is literally nothing to talk about. And that’s okay because usually a dry spell is followed up by a splurge of news.
Let’s hope that splurge of news arrives sooner rather than later.
